Hiroshima Ghost Girl – I come and stand at every door

A song of despair about the abomination of what we humans do to one another and the planet we live on. Written by the Turkish poet Hazim Hickmet in the 1950’sand set here to a traditional Scots tune. At gigs I usually play this on hammered dulcimer, but I thought the Japanese koto was far more respectful and fitting for this home studio recording. The paintings shown in the video were created by Hiroshima survivors.
